Want to maximize the power of your Revit schedules? Check out the video replay from ArchSmarter’s “How to Schedule Anything in Revit” webinar which originally aired on June 2nd. This session set a viewing record for ArchSmarter webinars!
One note – in the webinar, I mention that I didn’t think you could use a key schedule to populate fields in another schedule. It turns out you can! A couple astute viewers (thanks Matt and Yasha) emailed me with the solution. I will post a video update shortly. Just make sure you don’t name your key schedule the same as an existing project parameter (which was my problem).
Also, I’m going to be leading a masterclass on Revit data starting next Thursday (June 9th). This masterclass will last five weeks and will be conducted online via GoToWebinar. In the class, we’re going to take an in-depth look at how to maximize the value of your building data using schedules, Dynamo, Excel, and databases. I’m really excited about this class! Hi Michael,
Thanks from Spain!
When will you give us the solution to populate fields in a Revit schedulle from another key schedulle?
Congratulations for your amazing work!
JJ
Thanks Jose. It turns out a key schedule will automatically populate values in another schedule, provided you don’t already have a project parameter with the same name as the key. This was the problem I ran into during the webinar.
